CRO Strategist

remotefull-time₱115K – ₱230K PHP / month

About the role

Compensation: $2,000 to $4,000 USD per month (approx P115,000 to P230,000 PHP per month).

Hustl is a DTC e-commerce brand running a high-velocity testing program. We have developers and designers on staff. What we need is a strategist who owns the CRO function end-to-end: what to test, why, how to measure, and what to do next.

This is a pure strategy and ownership role. You will not be pushing pixels or writing production code. You are the brain behind the testing program: identifying opportunities, forming hypotheses, designing tests, managing the testing roadmap, analyzing results, and making the call on what wins, what ships, and what we try next.

What you will own:

  • The entire CRO roadmap
  • Hypothesis development grounded in analytics, session recordings, heatmaps, surveys
  • Test design (variants, audience targeting, sample size, duration, primary and guardrail metrics)
  • Managing the split-testing tool end-to-end (we use Convert.com)
  • QA of every test before it goes live
  • Analyzing results with statistical rigor
  • Running retros and maintaining a learnings library
  • Project-managing design and dev on test implementation
  • Reporting CRO impact, lift, revenue

Must-haves:

  • 4+ years running CRO programs at a DTC brand, CRO agency, or in-house e-commerce
  • Personally run dozens of tests with specific wins, losses, and learnings to walk through
  • Deep fluency in at least one major testing platform (Convert, VWO, Optimizely, AB Tasty, Kameleoon). Convert is a plus
  • Strong statistical literacy (frequentist vs Bayesian, true significance, valid vs noise)
  • GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity), session recordings
  • Strong design sensibility (you know when a variant is cooked)
  • Highly analytical, detail-obsessed
  • Strong project management instincts
  • Think in hypotheses, not opinions

Nice-to-haves: Shopify or BigCommerce, physical product DTC, qual research methods, copywriting instincts, personalization testing.

What you'll own

  • Own meaningful surface area of the business - you are measured on outcomes, not tasks.
  • Ship weekly. Collaborate async. Over-communicate context.
  • Partner closely with leadership across product, growth, and operations.
  • Raise the bar on craft, velocity, and taste for everyone around you.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience shipping products in a fast-moving environment.
  • A written portfolio - examples of decisions you made and outcomes they drove.
  • Comfort with async written communication and self-directed work.
  • Drive to operate at a very high standard without being asked.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience at a small ecommerce or consumer-product team.
  • Experience building in public or running a side project.
  • Comfort using AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Linear AI, etc.) as daily drivers.
